DESCRIPTION:The Lafourche Parish Public Library will again host its many Mardi Gras Parades at various branches throughout the parish. Children are invited to participate in these parades as both krewe members and spectators.\n\n\n\nSpectators welcome! No motorized floats or vehicles\, please.\n\n \nChildren must provide their own throws for each parade. They may walk and throw\, or they may decorate wagons to be pulled by an adult. Costumes are encouraged\, too. Many of these parades need spectators\, so they public is welcome to join in and watch each parade. \n\n \n\nFor media related information\, contact Lauren at 446-1136.
