DESCRIPTION:The Virtual Academy of Lafourche (VAL) invites you to play an integral part in the 2nd Annual "Education that Works" Gala at 6pm on the evening of Friday\, January 13\, 2017 at the Thibodaux Civic Center. They are asking you to assist by donating one or more of your specialty dishes to guests for the evening. There will be serving stations throughout the arena highlighting the wonderful cuisine that our community offers. Guests will peruse the area and have a chance to taste the delicacies presented. Last year\, there was approximately 400 guests in attendance and anticipate over 500 benefactors this year.\n\n\n\nYou will be recognized at the event as well as on the website\, on all social and public media outlets as a supporter of "Education that Works!"\, promotional material and also receive a complementary as in the Souvenir booklet as well as acknowledgement on the sponsor board.\n\n\n\nVAL is a Type 1 Charter School\, opening in 2012 with approximately 108 students and have grown to 483.\n\n\n\nVAL needs your assistance. The contribution you make will not only feed the body but also go a long way in feeding the minds of their students.
